Buhari praises Tambuwal for joining
Abuja - A former Head of State and one of the leading presidential candidates in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, described the decision of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal to dump the Peoples Democratic Party for the APC has a courageous step.
Buhari said the defection will boost the strength of the opposition party, reports Premium Times.
Buhari, who spoke at the party’s extra-ordinary convention of the party in Abuja said he was overwhelmed by Tambuwal’s action
He noted that Tambuwal has set a record with the way he managed his defection by strategically adjourning the House till December to douse tension.
