This lingering dispute about the APC presidential candidate Gen. Mohammadu Buhari's certificate has been supposedly brought to a close by the release of His certificate yesterday by the ministry of Education in Katsina state. But several controversial comments are still being made by Nigerians contesting the genuineness of the said certificate. Some of the controversies are coloured red on the sample certificate as shown in the picture above.
The ministry of Education katsina states claims that they issued this certificate the way it is now to the General forgetting that there was no state called katsina as at 1961 when the General claimed he graduated from school. Also we have conflicting names, dates and a recent passport for a certificate that is over 53 years old. If they really have his record as they claim, why didn't they release it the way it was 53 years ago.
Furthermore, it was only 2 days ago that he announced to the press that he will be addressing his certificate issue yesterday and as soon as he supposedly cleared the air, by the evening of the same day the certificate was released. So it's clear that he was aware that the said certificate will be released because he must have done something about it.
These acts are completely unacceptable from someone who is to lead this nation. Nigerians, let us call for a revisit to this certificate issue because what he has brought to us is completely unacceptable. Nigerians are not fools. We are wise. We will no longer fold our arms and watch people stir our nation in the wrong direction. We will speak up!
