Cristiano
Ronaldo netted the winning goal for Real Madrid, as they came from
behind to defeat Barcelona 2-1 at the Nou Camp on Saturday night.
The
hosts, who paid tribute to former player and manager Johan Cruyff
before the match, took the lead early in the second half, after Gerard
Pique powered in a header past Keylor Navas.
Barca had chances to extend the lead but did not, before Karim Benzema found space inside the area to volley in the equalizer.
Sergio
Ramos was dismissed for a second bookable offence, but Ronaldo ensured
Zinedine Zidane’s men got all three points, after he superbly controlled
Gareth Bale’s cross and drove in the winner.
The result sees Real move within seven points of La Liga leaders Barca.
