The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has charged Nigerians to remain positive even as the home-based Super Eagles begin their line up matches at the African Nations Cup Competition (CHAN) in Rwanda.
Speaking exclusively to Naij.com, the general secretary of the NFF, Sanusi Mohammed expressed the readiness of the super eagles given their performance at the friendly matches.
Mohammed who expressed optimism that the Nigerian team would win the CHAN 2016 event in Rwanda encouraged Nigerians to continue to pray for the success of the team.
“The house is expecting victory. The boys are in good shape and they have prepared very well. They started with camping here in Nigeria and in South Africa. The tune of matches they played in South Africa predict that the team is ready for competition.
“So we are playing that the spirit with which they did their camping and won their friendly matches should be extended to the competition in Rwanda.”
“We are asking for Nigerians to be positive in their thinking and also pray for the success of the team. The success of the team is the success of all Nigerians.”
